It’s been almost 20 years since the last time we visited. Came here for our childhood memory. I have to say we were impressed! Decent selection of food and some items exceed my expectation for a buffet restaurant. Very clean tidy for its age. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Overall an excellent experience for a buffet restaurant Service: Dine in View all feedback.
What Mary Irwin doesn't like about Uncle Willy's Buffet:
What a disappointment. Thought we would try it out after 10+ years... Roast beef like shoe leather. Fried chicken cold. Brown lettuce. Waste of $60 for 2..will never be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.

This is probably the best meal I have ever had , 6 stars .
I dunno why all the bad reviews. The food is great. On my third plate! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This establishment closed between 3 and 4 to change over from lunch to dinner. We arrived just after 4 when it should be transitioned to the dinner menu. The person at the till charged us the lunch price (you pay before hand) The food was CLEARLY leftover from their lunch buffet. It was old, stale, dried up and not very appealing. Once we finished we LEFT THE BUILDING and the young man who charged us when we first got there popped out the side door and stopped us to ask us to come back in because he didn't charge us properly. So we all went back in and he proceeded to charge us an additional $6 per person for old, dried up, leftover lunch food. Very unprofessional, very disappointed, will NEVER go back. We were out of the building before he got up the nerve to ask us to fix our bills. They should have cut their losses. Don't waste your money here. The food is abhorrent.
Food is mediocre. No diabetic desert options anymore and even when we asked for something for my mom they didn’t even offer anything. No protein options for vegetarians. For $26 a person you should have a more diverse selection. The best part about the restaurant is the friendly German man that collects the plates from the tables. He is always a delight and remembers us when we come in. Vegetarian options: No proteins just starches Dietary restrictions: No diabetic options for desserts
