They serve bingsu, drinks and other desserts. But they're mostly famous for the bingsu which is really really finely shaved milk. I've only tried the matcha bingsu $10 for a small), it has red bean and korean rice cake layered into the bingsu and sprinkled with matcha powder on top. Have also tried their Injeolmi Toast around $10) which I would go back for again and again. Food comes on a cute wooden tray and waitres... View all feedback.
This is a good place for cold shaved ice desserts. Desserts are not that too sweet. It's just perfect! Service was good, small place to hang out.
Super delicious snowy dessert and lava bread! We ordered the melon shaved ice which was so sweet and fresh. The melons were in season and ripe (lucky us! , So it went so well with the ice. The ice part was creamy, but not overly so. Also not overly sweet, which was good because the melon was already so so sweet. <br/ <br/ We also ordered the chocolate lava toast which I loved!! It was crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The chocolate reminded me of Nutella actually, which was delicious. Unfortunately it is a big big portion so by the time we finished it, the bread had gotten soggy; still tasty though! <br/ <br/ Service didn't take very long and the people were friendly enough.

I remember coming here awhile back and I didn't think much of their dessert. But I came back recently and actually really enjoyed it! It wasn't busy at all when I went.<br/ <br/ The way it works here is you order and pay first. Then they'll give you a number to place at your table and they'll bring it out when it's ready. They have water up by the front that you can help yourself too. My friend and I shared a strawberry bingsu. Presentation was nice and I really liked their gold spoons. The portion was pretty good and it tasted fresh. The strawberries were a little tart but it worked with everything else because it was sweet. I would definitely come back to try more flavours.
Sulmida is a newish Korean dessert cafe which opened last summer in Burnaby. Its location is in a high traffic area being across Metropolis at Metrotown on Kingsway. Although it is named as a “Korean” dessert cafe, they are believed to be Chinese-owned and operated. I had been curious about them since they opened and recently decided to try them out after buying their Axka.com deal. When my husband and I went to Sulmida one afternoon last week, I was a bit early ahead of their opening time and they still had their front gate closed.
