I love this place! I ate here recently for the first time in a long while. Despite this, the owner remembered me and my order from my previous visit. She is always very kind and sociable when I talk with her. I see some other reviews addressing what they see as longer wait times for food. Personally I do not see this as unreasonable, considering the fact that it is only this one, aforementioned woman working (and wor... View all feedback.
What Sengpoo Ng doesn't like about Sashimi Sushi:
Worst place to order food, ordered their Korean fried chicken bentou and the chicken was some leftover grilled chicken with diluted spicy sauce. Absolute ripoff, this place needs to go. View all feedback.
We loved Bella the robot server, but that’s where the love affair ended. We payed $10 for a new menu item called Ramyun Korean style soup. It was very disappointing, we had mild veggie and spicy veggie. I think we counted a bit of spinach and a few strands of carrot and onion. Honestly, it is $2 more than the meat version and it has nothing extra, in fact, I’ve made better soup at home with a pack o’kimchi and veggies that I needed to use up in my fridge. Super dupe for a veg head like me( A for effort! Maybe stick to the sushi if you eat here Maybe the owner, who I’m sure works hard, will read my comments and take my suggestion to add some veggies please!
I have been going to Sashimi Sushi for YEARS! I am never disappointed. They are always so nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
Had the chicken bimibap. Nice portions, attentive staff and the interactive menu is fun. Good value for money in my book
Service:1/1 Serving/portions:0/1 Price:0/1 Wait time:0/1 Taste:0/1 Wait time was 29 minutes for 2 bentos. If the food was good at least it 'd be worth waiting; but it disappointed my stomach and I even more to the point where I had a severe stomachache. The shrimp was frozen and re-fried, sushi and tempura is super dry, veggies and chicken teriyaki tasted frozen. They also had tater tots for tempura? Thought this was Japanese cuisine.
Very friendly staff. A bit more expensive than other sushi locations, but it was worth it! The salmon teriyaki was amazing. The digital menu was also very nice.
