Ming Kee Kitchen - Burnaby

I’ve eaten here several times, food was always great! Especially the sweet and sour chicken balls. The prices good, staff was friendly! a good place for takeout!

This little restaurant is nice. The service is good. The food is pretty good too. Good price for good quality. I recommend this place.

We ordered from the nearby Ming Kee Kitchen. We ordered Kung pao chicken, ginger beef (crispy) and special chow mein (crispy). We also scored some free chicken wings*. The phone service was friendly. They quoted 40 but the delivery came at 30 minutes. The food was okay. Chicken wasn't super spicy and tasted mostly of celery. The ginger beef was good but some pieces were soggy. Chow mein was the best with lots of chicken and ham. I ordered it without squid. There were 2 prawn and some veggies. (I would have liked more veggies). The wings were pretty flavourful and crispy. Food might be better in-house. Because of the delivery option, I'm sure condensation sogged the food up. I probably wouldn't order from here again. There are better places around. *NB: They offer coupons online. You need to mention the coupon at time of ordering to get your freebie.

Absolutely inedible. Ginger beef (I don't think it's beef...it doesn't taste like beef ..in a bad way) is soggy and dry (I don't want to know how that is possible) and SO SALTY. The dumplings are nasty, I literally gagged. Fried rice is tasteless EXCEPT the salt. This food is riddled with MSG. Ugh, I feel nauseous just thinking about it again. Writing this review took about 20minutes because I kept gagging thinking about it. I would be shocked if I escape this without being sick.

A friend turned us on to Ming Kee Kitchen a couple of years ago we only order from them! The vegetables as super fresh and vary depending on the dish. Fresh red and yellow peppers in the Chop Suey, and the Chicken and Cashews is really great. Most interesting fortunes in the cookies, along with a Chinese word definition and translation. Super staff too!
