The shaved ice bowls with seasonal fruit were highly praised for flavor and size. The menu consists of a variety of dishes, but some customers noted blandness in certain items. Amazing dishes and desserts to die for. (Shaved ice.) best in town, so make sure you don't miss it. Great staff and amazing prices. Enjoy!
Been meaning to try this place. Finally found a reason to try them out and was I glad I did! Pleasantly surprised with the wide array of food options. Was just there for dessert and took us a while to decide. Loved their spin on banana split with green tea ice cream - superb! Also tried their churros rice cake - heaven! Bit disappointed with the Korean coffee - not enough oomph. Owners appear to be huge Michael Jordan fans. Will definitely be back.
Decided to try this place out after hearing about it from some friends. Went there specifically for dessert. We ended up getting the assorted seasonal fruit shaved ice dessert. Overall not too bad, we got grapes, blueberries, watermelon, pineapple. There was a scoop of ice cream in the middle, some condensed milk drizzled on top and a little bit of red bean underneath the ice cream. There was also some rice cakes mixed in throughout the dessert that gave it a chewy texture. Pretty standard setup except for the rice cakes which I thought were kind of mediocre. The place is not close to where I live so I probably wouldn't make a trip back for this one. They have quite a large menu so there might be other desserts/meals that would be decent, I cannot fully discount this place. Service is ok, little slow as they tend to get busy.
I have been looking forward to trying this restaurant since I don't visit Coquitlam often.
The service at this restaurant was slow, but the food was decent. However, nothing really stood out to me that would make me want to go back. It is a newer restaurant that definitely needs to work on improving the taste of their dishes. The prices were average for the portion sizes offered.
