There's new owners, which used to be the old owners of the Queensborough. I love these owners, they make their ice cream great. The other marble slabs seem to have cheaped out on their ingredients because their quality is not even the same which the corporate office should really take a look at. The Richmond one is the worst, they shouldn't even be called marble slab. I recommend signing up for coupons they have them... View all feedback.

I wish they come up with sorbets or vegan options real soon since I gave up dairy.

Stopped in this afternoon for a yogurt shake and to bring home ice cream for supper. Waited ten minutes for shake. Ice cream tonight was without discernible flavour and I still have an acid stomach.
This Marble Slab is the closest to home, so its too bad they stopped doing their Groupon specials. Still, the ice cream cakes we bought here in the past were always a hit with the crowd.
It was a hot summer night so I took the family out for ice cream. We arrived and two people were ahead of us. Two young women were behind the counter. One was serving the customers ahead of us and the other was making waffle cones and bowls. We waited several minutes for the people ahead of us to be served while the waffle cone maker continued to make cones, even though she had several boxes of cones already made. Soon, more people arrived at the store and queued behind us.When it finally came to being our turn to be served (at least 10 minutes), we asked for some floats. The two staff did not know what they were. We told them. They still didn't get it. After a couple of minutes we gave up and ordered milkshakes instead. More people came into the store and lined up. Now there were six people behind us.Meanwhile, the young lady making the waffle cones still didn't stop what she was doing to help clear the backlog of customers. She continued to pour waffle cone batter, put some new cups onto the counter, and, at one point, she actually came over to the ice cream case and scooped herself a sample cup of gelato to bring back to her waffle cone station.I finally spoke up and suggested that she help serve some of the other customers. She looked at me as if I gave to her some kind of revelation.By the time I received three out of the four milkshakes, I cancelled the fourth one, paid and left.Total time elapsed: 25 minutes. No manager was present in the store.
