What kira709394 doesn't like about Happy Lamb Hot Pot:
It used to be a place I like to eat hot pot,but since the last time I went there, I was very disappointed, especially the working attitude and service of the staff, some ordered foods and drinks were not served until asked for it, but at least the waiters said that they were busy, so it was late, which was acceptable. What we couldn't accept most was their host Alex, what we see was every free tables was sat for aver... View all feedback.
Came here for lunch in a big group which is better. We had a regular soup base and a spicy soup base. We tried most of the items on the menu. All the ingredients were fresh. You can also make your own combination of sauce to go with your food.
• I've been here twice, busy place so to start, make a reservation especially when you are in a big group<br/ • quick service, make sure you let your server know right away if you do not belong to the hot pot group so they don't charge you for it<br/ • the usual, choose your broth, tick the list of stuff that we want in your hot pot<br/ • order away, toss the yummy meat, veggies, balls, protein etc on the boiling pot and keep eating<br/ • its a fun thing to do with family and friends<br/ • I'm not a personal fan of plum juice but its not bad to have it with it<br/ • some skewers are good as well<br/ • located on 2nd level of this complex, pay street parking available. Some people park at Metrotown and walk across to get to Little Sheep but I do not recommend this as parking patrols might be out to get you. <br/ • $25 or more per person plus tip in total<br/ • I like it and will be back for more!
Our friend invited us for some hot pot. The four of us arrived to a long lineup of people waiting for a seat. Luckily, our friend had made reservations, so we didn’t have to wait too long. The host was rude which is maybe why I shy away from Chinese restaurant for Chinese, as many don’t speak English well, so, I often end up going only if a Chinese person is taking us, lol.
For a Summer evening, this place was packed<br/ There was a bit of a wait for our soup base and food to arrive at our table but once it did, along with an apology for the wait, we were ready to go.<br/ <br/ As usual, Little Sheep didn’t disappoint, meats and veggies were all very fresh and the little assorted meat/seafood balls were great.<br/ <br/ We were incredibly full and content. As an added extra they even brought us over some plum juice, nice touch, it aids with digestion of all the food we ate. <br/ <br/ Bonus: they have a heated patio where you can dine as well. Where else can you have hot pot on a patio.
We bought the Groupon for 2, included is two broths, we chose half original and half spicy, as well as an assortment of meats and other items from their menu. We love both the original and spicy broth here, definitely our favourite broth in terms of communal hot pot. The meat is very tender and had lots of flavour. One of the few places with a create your own sauce bar as well! The service was excellent as well, which is tough to say at other hot pot restaurants. We will definitely be back.
