Atmosphere: Very inviting atmosphere. One of the eateries I would go to near the UBC area. Price: A little on the high end but not un attainable. Service: Friendly. Food: I just had a basic cheese pizza. Crust was nice and crisp and good ratio of cheese to sauce. View all feedback.
What Tony L doesn't like about Club Ilia:
If you're at SFU Burnaby, this is one of the nicer places to have lunch at. The wait staff was professional, friendly and attentive, and the service was always prompt. You'll never be thirsty here. I ordered the Green Thai Curry Bowl. A few things: the curry was not very spicy, so it didn't quite live up to its name. Absolutely love Club Ilia. Even before working here, I always frequented it for Happy Hour or just for a quick lunch with friends. With a great menu and affordable prices, it's a perfect spot for SFU students
Great nachos-there was actually cheese layered throughout.
Happy hour opens until 11pm good service, attentive to water refills and drinks
QUALITY OF FOOD (5/5) The Cajun Mac n Cheese I had been craving for was made ultra fresh, cheese was hot and melted, flavours blended well. Overall taste experience was better than last few times I went before renovations. QUALITY OF SERVICE (5/5) Friendliness of Staff (5/5) Attentiveness/Speed (5/5) Emma was very friendly and attentive from the moment I walked into the restaurant. However, I went during downtime so it was expected. CLEANLINESS OF RESTAURANT (5/5) The restaurant was kept really cleaned as I can see employees cleaning when it was not as busy. RESTAURANT APPEARANCE/AMBIENCE (5/5) After Spring 2019 renovations, interior had a more modern atmosphere with brighter colours and a more spacious seating arrangement. VALUE OF MONEY (5/5) The portion was great, almost equivalent to two thirds of Anton's portion for only $16. Nothing was cheaped out in terms of ingredients (cheese, sausage, macaroni) OVERALL EXPERIENCE (5/5)
