What User doesn't like about Chonng Lum Hin Seafood Restaurant:
It's been a while since I had dim sum but my friend eats at this place regularly so I thought why not? I enjoyed my lunch and the price was right. The crispy shrimp spring rolls and the potstickers were very nice. View all feedback.

Seriously folks, you need to change the spelling to Chong and Hing. I am surprised at such a small number of reviews...perhaps the patrons are all Chinese speaking and does not do reviews, just word of mouth. A local chinese restaurant with good chinese food...More
I'm glad you managed to read this review. I've requested Trip Advisor a dozen times to correct the spelling from Chonng to the correct name "Chong Lum Hin. With the incorrect spelling TA does no favours to the restaurant. Having said that, our family has enjoyed get-together Dim Sum weekend brunches since my daughter was first pregnant. Her doctor was across the street. Her first son is now almost 14. We've taken guests from around the world to Dim Sum there. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is reasonably priced and fresh. Quality of food is on a par with far more expensive restaurants. The furniture and decor is continually upgraded. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants with more glitter. But for value, speed of service and friendliness the Chong Lim Hin is our default restaurant. My wife and I treat ourselves to a weekday Dim Sum for two there once or twice a month. The Chong Lum Hin is as centrally located for metro Vancouver as you can get. It has a large parking lot in the rear of its corner location. On weekends its clientele is mainly Chinese. During the week many engineers from nearby BC Hydro and other tradesmen enjoy their lunch there. Dim Sum is served daily from 10am to 3pm. Dinner is from 4:30pm to midnight every evening but Tuesdays. There is free delivery for up to 5km. On weekends I would recommend a reservation if you have more than a couple. When we were away on a Cross Canada trip for two months, the thing we missed the most from Metro Vancouver was our Dim Sums at Chong Lum Hin.

We always have the same vegetarian dishes here, and the server, Anna, always remembers what we have, no matter how long it's been since our last visit. Amazing! Service is very fast, food is well-prepared and very reasonably priced. Since wee are vegetarians, we always sit on the side farthest away from the fish/lobster/crab tanks.
