What Chandra Trinh doesn't like about Bamboo Garden Restaurant:
I went in to have lunch but the food was very bland. What made it worse for this dine in restaurant was not allowing me (or anyone) to use the washroom to wash my hands or use in general. They had blocked it off with chairs and it was so unacceptable! My husband did make a call to Fraser health because it’s so unsanitary. Won’t be returning for sure. View all feedback. What Deez B likes about Bamboo Garden Restaurant:
Decided to try something new (other than pizza, korean, chinese offerings . Despite being located at the end of the row, BG has good food and pricing that is on par with student lifestyles. Miso ramen was great. Will definitely visit more often : View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some complained about bland food, unappetizing quality, unfriendly staff, high prices, and unsanitary conditions. Others praised the delicious dishes, generous portions, friendly service, and affordable prices. Despite the varied feedback, many customers recommended trying the restaurant's menu items such as deep-fried spare ribs and cold spicy chicken. The overall consensus seemed to be that while the restaurant had some flaws, it was a solid option for dining at SFU thanks to its tasty food and friendly staff.
This is a typical fast food Chinese place on campus at Simon Fraser University where students dash in and out between classes to get a quick lunch.
Have tried eating here twice in my past several years attending SFUBoth times I've tried to vary the dishes but they're just terrible.
Service was nice and portions were good for the price. I enjoy the fish hot pot as well as a 3 combo meal that was delicious
