This was our second attempt at this restaurant having had a poor experience in the past. This time was probably worse than the first. The new menu is great and great live music. Had the briaket and my wife the fish entree, bith really tasty. Needed a change and seemed to have done it right!
A disappointing end to the Purple Heather, which we thought was great. In a nutshell - this place sucks - would not return under any circumstances. Visited on a Wednesday night. Apparently it was quiz night, so the place was busy. No biggie - we sat outside. Service was slow, but not terrible....then we had a chance to order:Asked the wait staff what kind of beers are on tap - she tells us..."there's too many to go through, what kinda beer do you want?"...ummm...this is a 'Brew' pub right? How about a beer menu? Ended up with Stella and a Kronenberg Blanc cause we weren't made aware of any other possibilities. So much for their 'brew'.Apparently, the chef doesn't make side Caesar salads because they grill them..huh?The server says, "Yeah, I know..who doesn't make side Caesars, right?" Yeah, ok. So we get our food - the Curry consisted of canned diced tomatoes with nearly raw broccoli and cauliflower, and naan that's toasted so much it won't hold the rice without crumbling - all served in a tomato sauce with curry powder added. Even the side House salad (the alternative to the awol Caesar) was bad. On the up side, they didn't manage to screw up the Turkey Club, if that's an achievement. Server didn't even bother to ask us how the food was...probably knew better. Never again for this sorry excuse for a restaurant.

Went with my husband on Thursday for Trivia we had the 1/2 Chicken Dinner - it was delicious! The service was great - our servers name was Tonya, she was attentive, accommodating and very pleasant. I will highly recommend this place to friends and family. We are looking forward to our next visit to try some more menu items and some craft beer! Keep Up The Great Work!
Owners have done a beautiful job on remodeling this place into a Brewpub. The inside has a new fun and hip atmosphere. The new menu has a nice mix of snacks and some very tasty main menu selections. The music scene continues to be the best in Burlington. Definitely the place to check out.
