The Pita Pit - Burlington

I have a love-hate relationship with the Pita PitI love the pitas -- particularly with the black bean patty and all the veggies on the grill.

Horrible experience honestlyWent in at lunch time and there was 3 people working.

Excellent place to stop for a healthy, filling mealI got a grilled chicken pita and my daughter also got a chicken pita.

A favorite stop for me when in a hurry and wanting something with good nutrition and value. One of the better fast food choices. You can join their loyalty club if you wish. They also have indoor seating. The staff are vg and should get tips ...

The pita pit was our go to back in university -- for a great pita full of excellent chicken and veggies... For a fair price. Well that's no more. For $27 I got an ok salad with a few pieces of chicken and two pitas with about the same small amount. I honestly could have made it at home for $ 5.00 . There was for sure not even one breast of chicken between the three orders. They were nice enough-- but Chaotic at times - mixing things up etc. Not worth $27. Fresh veggies though-- so that was good. I will go back to zesty pita by Marilou's... I can see the meat cooking out in the open and the falafals are made from scratch in house by lovely people who I am fairly certain grew up with these recipes . To die for. None of this cooperate ****. Small, local business which we should support. Sorry pita pit-- I will keep my university memories of you alive-- and forget about this visit.
