We visited the restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Our waitress, Megan, was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions from the menu. It's a pretty good place so long as you don't mind not being served or seen for about 40 minutes. I mean I suspect it's a good place, because I ended up walking out without getting a single item. This restaurant is the ideal place for a laid-back weekend gathering with friends and family, where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. Every dish we tried was exceptional, but the Cajun shrimp really stole the show—tender, flavorful shrimp in a delectable sauce. The service was prompt, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
I used to go to this restaurant often, especially before Covid when we performed there. Recently, I was in the area and thought it would be nice to stop by for a quick beer. Unfortunately, I faced discrimination for being alone; the manager appeared focused on saving tables for larger groups that weren't even there, despite the fact that several tables were open. I feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with these unfair practices. I usually tip around 33%, but I can only suggest that others avoid this place.
What can I say? The staff were extremely friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent. I went there last Saturday to see a friend perform and chose to have dinner at the restaurant. To my excitement, I discovered that they had beef stroganoff on the menu, which is one of my favorite dishes. I haven’t seen it offered in a restaurant for over 20 years! It was fantastic, and the price was just right. My server was attentive and cheerful. Overall, I had a wonderful evening!
Finding this restaurant can be a bit tricky if you haven't been there before, as there's no sign on Appleby Line. However, the food is wonderful—ample portions and full of flavor. Our waitress seemed a little disorganized, but overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back!
