It's pretty good pizza, but it's exactly the same as I can get at the Pizzaiolo in Oakville, Toronto, etc...I gave it 4 stars because it is above average Pizza for a fair price.I like Pizzaiolo like I like my tim hortons... they're just kind of there.I'll go in if I am hungry and can't think of anywhere else nearby to try, but it's nothing to write home about. What Dhiren Raikuvar doesn't like about Pizzaiolo Gourmet Pizza:
The pizza was of very low quality. The crust was not soft and tasted like it came from a cheap fast food pizza place. I used to enjoy their pizzas, but today's experience was really disappointing. View all feedback.
I've only been here once and I feel like that's all I need, I had a slice of the The Godfather which was described as Deep Dish but in reality it was nothing more than a very thick dough with a regular amount of sauce, there wasn't enough cheese on it and the topping were for the most part flavorless. A true deep dish pizza is as the name suggests, Deep, there was no depth, there wasn't enough cheese and overall this is an insult to the actual deep dish pizza. It was an average slice of pizza, Both slices we ordered weren't heated up enough and it seemed to have been sitting there for a couple of hours when I showed up around 4PM. The GodFather doesn't make me want to come back and experience this place again, the alternatives in Burlington such as Luganos, Mount Royal Pizza and Son of a Peach.

Always on the hunt for a better pizza, the other chains have been a disappointment lately. This place is not. It just opened at the corner of Lakeshore and Brant. It has its normal startup gitters i.e. staff not familiar with computers however, the pizza is excellent and reasonably priced. My wife of Italian descent said "Wow this tastes just like my Dad made". The sauce is excellent, crust light and not too doughy. They don't scrimp on toppings. The pizza is just a little better than anywhere else in my opinion. I think we just found our new pizza place. There are half a dozen tables for dining in with a nice view of the lake. I will definitely go back but I would order for delivery instead. Parking is a pain to find in this area.
Lovely Italian restaurant. The owners are supper nice and attentive. I've been here twice now for the seafood risotto and fratelli desert .
While I have been frequenting this place a lot lately, I had forgotten to write a review.
