Wow first time to this restaurant, what a wonderful place in a quiet little town to sit outside on their patio and sip a glass of wine. I had a soup and sandwich best sandwich I ever had. Cauliflower soup yum. We will be back again for SURE, maybe in the fall and winter to try out the inside somewhere near there cozy fireplace i seen. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lowville Bistro:
Heard so much great things about his restaurant and hadn't been for years so went back with family and we were so disappointed. The food was not at all what we would have expected. Ordered the Braised Beef Ravioli and it arrived in bowl of congealed liquid with fat solidified on the top. Pasta for kids was not edible. We went Sunday around noon on the patio for a glass of wine and had the cheese and cured meats plate, we were thinking of sharing the quiche which would have been a better choice for me I'm not very fond of cured meats and there was not much cheese. The wine was good, service excellent as always, the patio is so peaceful. We have had several meals here and will keep returning.
Loved it. However it did take some time for the food to get to us. The waitresses were busy busy however very friendly and attentive. Service was slow but the ambiance of the place made you just want to chill with no rush. When the food came out ..OMG it was absolutely amazing! Worth the wait . .just be prepared to chill and sip your wine. Lovely little place. Definitely will be back to enjoy the jazz night ....The outside patio is made to chill and nor rush

It's a special little place in a wonderful location away from it all. Nestled in the little hamlet of Lowville just north of Burlington, the Lowville Bistro offers amazing service, a quaint, relaxing atmosphere and terrific food, but don't forget the outstanding wine list! They truly have something for everyone.
We celebrated my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary in the garden. It was a beautiful setting for 24 people. The service was spectacular, as well as the food. My parents had a wonderful time.... thank you.
