Kelsey's used to be our "go to" restaurant when we wanted a break from cooking at home. We returned this week, but we wouldn't be in a hurry to return. We started with their signature calamari/shrimp appetizer - tasty but greasy. My wife had the chicken quesadillas - tasty but a burnt after-taste. I had the maple salmon - satisfying but the grilled veggies and mashed potatoes were tasteless and seemed re-heated. The... View all feedback.
The food was pretty good - about what you would expect from a chain. Service was friendly, if a bit slow - we were there at an odd time... Place was well kept and clean.

We weren't very impressed except for the service. The fries were bland and they didn't have ingredients for the alcoholic beverages listed in the menu.
Got to the restaurant during off-hours, around 3pm. Stood at the front desk waiting to be noticed for about five minutes. Finally someone saw us and came over, blaming the new re-design on not being able to see people waiting at the door. How about you take a walk around once in awhile, that should remedy the situation. There was a fairly large group seated already and they wanted to seat us right next to them while all the other tables in the section were empty. Strike two. Asked for a table farther along, no problem.Waitress came over soon enough, took our drink orders, and brought them almost immediately. That was the last we saw of her good service. She took our order for appetizers and entrees. Brought the food once ready but never once came back to ask if everything was ok. We had to ask for refills for drinks, one of which never showed up until we had to remind her that we didn't get the drink. She was more interested in the table with the large group, no doubt hoping for a good tip. She went to their table three times while not once even glancing at our table. Sorry honey, no tip from us. We don't reward terrible service and I feel no guilt about it. The food was only mediocre at best. Nachos were just thrown together, toppings on only some of the chips. Most were plain, not even cheese on them. The messy shrimp burger did not live up to its name. It was bland and dry.For an almost $100 bill, I'd expect for the food to at least be tasty. This was an extremely underwhelming restaurant experience and don't expect to see me back at this location. She seemed to be the only waitstaff on the floor but if that was the case then the least she could have done was to tell us that they were short-handed and the wait might be a little longer than normal.
