What User likes about Garden's Cafe:
This is a good place to take a break after visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens. We were pleased with the "homemade" quality of our sandwiches and will certainly go again. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Garden's Cafe:
There was so much potential--lovely setting, fresh herb pots in the open kitchen. Our order was simple; foccacia and salad. It took over an hour to get the food! The place has 12 tables! read moreThe Garden's Cafe, located in the Royal Botanical Gardens, offers a lovely setting with fresh herbs in the open kitchen. Although service was slow and the food had some issues (such as oversalted salad and a overly salty steamed bun), the homemade sandwiches and crispy fish sandwich were tasty. The warm salad, fish and chips, mac and cheese, and bread pudding were highlights. Despite the limited menu and institutional atmosphere, the cafe does offer a discount for RBG members. Overall, the Garden's Cafe is a good spot to take a break while visiting the gardens, with standbys like the frittata and quality, locally sourced food available.
