What User doesn't like about Fionn MacCool’s:
I ordered the steak and Guinness pie. The pastry was doughy, not cooked at all. I didn't say anything, but scooped out the meat and mushrooms. There was about 1 piece of meat and 4 mushrooms; hardly a meal. When they cleared my plate they noticed the pie crust was still on there. They seemed surprised that it was not cooked and the manager refunded the money for the meal. We won't be going there again. View all feedback. What User likes about Fionn MacCool’s:
Food is tasty and there are some healthier options like salads with beets in addition to regular pub fare, options.. Decor is nice too but I wish the poor waitresses could get some longer skirts as they must get cold sometimes View all feedback.

read moreFionn McCools in Waterloo has some mixed reviews, with some guests finding the food underwhelming and the service lacking. Some have complained of cold dishes, lackluster appetizers, and inexperienced staff. However, others have enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, large portions, and refreshing drinks, particularly the Gin and Tonic. Despite some negative experiences, the pub seems to have potential for improvement and some guests have had great experiences with both the food and service. It also offers a gluten-friendly menu for those interested. Overall, Fionn McCools appears to have both positives and negatives, making it a hit or miss spot for customers.
