Doma Sushi - Burlington

The Sashimi Tempura lunch is fantastic. The fish is so fresh it shines. I have enjoyed this meal both as take out & stay in. But I must say, that the service & hospitality of this small family business is exceptional. They even sent me away with an extra order of rice for my dog because they remembered that she loves rice.

Extremely good food and presentation. Pleasant atmosphere, pleasant staff and master chef. The food presentation goes well beyond the ordinary, and the quality, freshness and taste is also extremely good. Lightest snowflake tempura batter I have experienced anywhere in Canada (including Vancouver).We'll go there again soon for certain! (Just hope it doesn't get so busy we can't get in, as it is a small restaurant.) Caters to take out as well.

Our regular sushi place was jammed packed so we needed to find a quick replacement. The other trip advisor reviews were promising so we chose Doma Sushi. Located in the Longo's plaza at Dundas and Walker's Line, this is a small sushi place. The staff are very friendly Japanese, who made us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived. They are attentive and very eager to please.The decor is low key and the atmosphere a bit cheesy with Japanese karaoke of very mushy love ballads. That is our only complaint. Now to the good stuff. The menu is varied and well priced, including great explanations for those who may not know what to order. Our tea was unlimited and they either don't charge for it, or they forgot to charge us for it. Either way, we were happy to have the tea, even if it was a bit watered down from our regular Japanese tea experience. I cannot stress enough just how fresh everything tasted. I highly recommend the Kami Kaze roll and make sure to have their Miso soup because it was fresh and not as salty as other places we have tried. We also had the Yellow tail roll, which has cucumber and green onion: a great alternative to the California roll if you like fish. Yaki Udon was very good, but only if you enjoy a very strong seafood flavour. The Sushi dinner A was small, but perfect for a taste of raw fish and not too much rice. We will be trying other places in the area, but if ever in a jam we would go back to Doma and would recommend it to others.

A great restaurant with a clean and comfortable atmosphere. They have very generous fish portions in their sushi and sashimis. The fish is also fresh. The owners are super nice. Very recommended .

When Doma opened we went as a family of four with elementary aged kids. Its a small location but super clean and the staff is really friendly!! Its quickly become our new fav sushi spot!!The kids love the Chicken Katsu, its amazing!! Like Korean chicken fingers and the dip is delicious! Their miso is top notch and I love the variety of the Maki. Doma is a great spot for a family dinner, just get there early because there are only about 7 tables!!
