We were having a birthday party for my wife. She loves a Strawberry ShortBread Cake...so that's what I ordered. The cake was spectacular; fresh strawberries, whipped cream, custard filling and a wonderful cake layer. One guest remarked it was the best cake she had ever tasted! I've ordered several birthday cakes from Clarke's and they have all been so good. View all feedback.
What L J Don doesn't like about Clarke's Home Style Bakery:
I grew up in Burlington and Clarke's was a very well known bakery with delicious baked goods. I have now moved to another city and the past 2 times I returned to Burlington in the past 2 months, I stopped at Clarke's. I do not know what has changed, but the bakery has gone completely downhill.The bread was dry and crumbly. Called for help with a product and even though I didn’t order here they are extremely knowledgeable and customer service is outstanding!! Will remember them for the future!
Best banana bread we’ve ever had!! Not to mention the other delicious baked goods we’ve tried! Will definitely be adding this bakery as a frequent stop on my way home from work!
Just finished their Beef Bourguignon Pie for dinner . YUM!!!
The lovely people at Clarke's Homestyle Bakery made a unique donut cake for my daughters' birthday. It was beautiful and delicious. We have been getting our cakes and treats from there for years now. Definitely recommend!
