my boyfriend and I are HUGE sushi fans and we just moved to the area, leaving our favorite spot behind. When we moved here we simply just googled "sushi in Burlington" and this was one of the first ones to come up so we gave it a shot. The first time we went was in January and although the service was a little slow, the food was great and well worth the wait. The lunch menu is very extensive which is appreciated and... What Benny Runolfsson doesn't like about Adami Japanese Restaurant:
Pros: large menu - many items with pictures, lots of non-sushi items for people who don't actually like sushi, plenty of seating, speedy service. Cons: more crummy Canadian Chinese food than actual sushi, lots of really greasy menu items, rice and noodle dishes need to be split with many people as they are way too big for one or two, mediocre quality fish.We like this restaurant for large groups but if you are lookin... I really enjoy Japanese food and always look forward to trying new all you can eat sushi places. I wasn't impressed at all with the service or food options here at Adami! The service was terrible, and very unfriendly! The food was mediocre, and had...More
We ordered delivery for a Friday night stay in and almost 2 hours later it's still not here and no one is answering their phone. This is the first time we are ordering from Adami and well it's the last. Just called our regular spot and they will be here in 40 minutes. I will not recommend this place to anyone.. signed hungry and annoyed
The menu is typical for all you can eat sushi and is fresh and generally well prepared. Lunch menu does not have sashimi Some of the items on the card were not on the ordering sheets so our server had to go back to the kitchen to make sure the one we ordered was available Staff always friendly but after the first round of food they often lose track of orders or give us orders for another table or forget us entirely Getting the final bill can be a challenge Have been when it is very busy and nearly empty and the service is the same regardless

The lunch menu is very extensive which is appreciated and the staff is helpful if you have a question. We have now gone back 3 times and each time we go the service gets faster and faster, even on the busier times that we've been. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants some great sushi :)
