we entrusted the greenhouse tavern for a family funeral and were treated like a part of their family. they looked after every detail to make a very difficult day peaceful and comfortable. every dish on the buffet lunch was delicious and enjoyed a very diverse amount. we recommend the greenhouse tavern for events, catering or a private meal in a beautiful environment. What User doesn't like about The Frozen Gnome:
four of us went to my sister's birthday. the steak of my swager was cooked exactly right, although very fat and his kartoffels are instant potatoes. strange for a fee of $33. he also ordered French woof soup, we remembered our waitress before the meal, but it came through halfway. my steak tips were darkened, dry and the risotto that came with it was chewing, not creamy, as mentioned on the menu. later they brought m... I've cream cup was 1 scoop and it cost 5$. What a ripoff. I will never recommend The Frozen Gnome. Rating no stars
Absolute ripoff. $6 for 2 measly scoops of Gifford's. You're better off going to your local grocery store.
Angeline massali the worker gave pretty good service. 3 out of 5 for the place, 4 out of 5 for the service. Ice cream was cheeks tho.
I like the ice cream. I can only say like but it's a great place to visit on a nice warm sunny day on a relaxing road trip to through Burlington. They have some good flavors and there is nothing wrong with this place but I have had better don't let this stop you from visiting it's still worth going to.
This will be a quick one since I basically reviewed the place next door and practically included The Frozen Gnome in that review. Ha. Strategically placed next to The Greenhouse Cafe Tavern is this cute little spot. Assuming to be owned by the same people it 's set right off the main parking lot which both businesses share. So as you walk by the ice cream shop on the way in for dinner or brunch The Frozen Gnome has already planted its seed in you letting you know its there for after dinner. Smart. So after you 're done with your major meal you come outside to chill in front of the lake and the smell of fresh baked waffles cones stuffed with your favorite ice cream magically wafts its way over to your nose. Well, now you HAVE to go check this place out and since it 's conveniently placed right by your cars, it doesn 't take much energy to go pay a visit. Inside is very cute and quaint. A few tables to eat at and a decent variety of flavors to choose from. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful in letting me sample a few things and getting my order together. I went my usual Cookie 'N ' Cream route and it was delicious. Hats off to the owner setting up a nice combo or restaurant ice cream shop so close together to hit all of the taste buds in one fell swoop. Lol. Be sure to check this place out if you 're having dinner at the Greenhouse Cafe Taven. Please be sure to check out my reviews and pictures on that place too. Cheers.
