Mixed Rice - Burlington

Absolutely best spring rollers in Burlington!!! And very nice man who leads the restaurant! I love this place

I give this facility 2 stars for the chicken Bibimbap was good. The rest of the food was meh. I have seen NIE such TINY portions of Korean food in all my 15 years of eating Korean food. Never! The food isn't full at all and at the price?! The Bibimbap has no GOCHUJANG sauce! It is literally not Bibimbap without this sauce. It's not authentic at all. The amount of meat, especially the beef was very small on all the food I ordered. The veggie japchae had only a few onions and carrots and was on some kind of oily rice. I didn't understand this meal at all. It didn't taste good and I threw it out, I'm going to look for another place.

Ordered a delicious beef glass noodles mixed rice flour. Veggies were crisp, not overcooked. A little bit heavy on sesame oil, but not complaining as it was delicious. I was surprised to see Japchae on rice, but it was great, it filled us.

Do not order Vege Bibimbap. You'll regret it. We were shocked when we opened the box, it is like the photo though (sadly, we did not notice the photo on the menu).

My son and I have been to Mixed Rice several times in the past few years. My late wife was from a Thai family going way back to when Thailand was Siam and we love many Asian dishes. We have enjoyed going to this place for several years. Its food could have been a bit better for the price, with servings being a bit larger. However, we have not found anything absolutely wrong with eating here. The service has always been friendly and efficient. My son and I went there yesterday for the first time since the Covid shtdown. We were really looking forward to it. However, despite what their website claims, they are take-out only. Worse, they have a table shoved across the front door and expect folks to stand on the sidewalk to place an order and then stand in the heat of summer to wait for their food. This was a complete turnoff. I do not know the reason they have done this. If it's because of Covid still frightening them, someone should remind them that the Burlington no longer demands that businesses have to prevent folks from entering a restaurant. I would think that Mixed Rice should at least allow folks to come inside (masked if they prefer that) to order and to wait for the food.
