What User doesn't like about Hardee's:
A very poor experience at this location. It was not busy when we arrived and place an order for a family of 5. It took a long time for us to get our food at the window, but the employees forgot our half gallon of tea. When I went in to get it, it had not even been made, so I had to wait longer. She was rude. Gave me the wrong food; didn't get straws. I tried to call back to fix it but no answer. So very upset.
I went there one time the employee spit in my food. It was disgusting and roaches on the floor.
My husband noticed a female employee outside smoking, while inside, a man prepared and handed him our low-carb burger and tea. When he brought it home, the burger had hardly any lettuce, and what was there was greasy and wilted, as if it had been microwaved. Frustrated, I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager. A woman responded and I expressed my concerns. She approached the employee who made our food while I was still on the line, and he admitted to only putting a little lettuce on the burger. The manager apologized and said she would report him to her general manager. I pointed out that, ultimately, it’s her responsibility to ensure that quality food is served. She mentioned she was busy taking care of the bread stock, apparently unaware that customers notice what’s happening around them, including employees smoking outside. It was disappointing to see her throw her colleague under the bus rather than provide him with support. I chose not to eat what we received, concerned about how cleanly it was prepared based on my observations of the establishment and the food. It was quite off-putting! I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
We were both given numbers since nothing was ready when we ordered. This made the disappointment even greater when we received a cold burger. As we left, we noticed someone still sitting in their car, waiting on an order at the drive-thru window. While the onion rings were enjoyable and the fries were fairly decent, the burgers were quite underwhelming. One of the burgers was nearly cold, and neither looked anything like the pictures in the ads. Nearby, another diner had eaten breakfast and left most of their food untouched, likely sharing our sentiment about the food quality. Throughout our visit, none of the staff cleared the tables. Now I understand why I haven't visited a Hardee's in years. Since this location isn't on our way to anywhere, we probably won't return.
I'll keep it brief: this restaurant is a complete waste of your time and money. The food is cold and poorly prepared, the staff is rude and slow, and the wait times are incredibly long. Over the years I've lived nearby, my orders have been incorrect time and again. I keep hoping that maybe there's new management and things will improve, but it never does. So, please, avoid this place! Today was my final visit. After waiting 25 minutes in the drive-thru with just one car ahead of me, I received cold, incorrect food with no napkin or receipt, and I wasn’t even offered my $10 in change. I drove away, leaving my change as a parting gift to Hardee's. That was my last dollar spent at this location.
