Unfortunately, the experience was not what she should have been. there was a patron with a cough that went between two tables back and forth (not the debt of the restaurant, but it made it still unpleasant - we moved our tablets to press our pizzas on the table to avoid their cough on them). the server was also clearly overwhelmed, as we had to ask for refills. all by the way, we ordered a mozzarella pipe and the she... I love Frank Pepe 's but today 's wasn 't their best. Our waitress wasn 't very attentive and the pizza, although very good, wasn 't the best I 've had. New Haven is always awesome. The bacon in our Bacon pizza was practically uncooked and there wasn 't very much of it for a bacon pizza. And our classic white clam pizza was good but tasted a little funky, like maybe too much beach and not enough garlic and cheese. I 'll be back, but maybe not to the mall location. But still better than most pizza places.
Pizza was awesome but service was terrible. Our server acted like they didn’t want to be there and was not attentive at all. When we received our check, I told her that I have a rewards account and wanted to use the reward I have. She rolled her eyes and asked for my phone number. She returned with the receipt and didn’t use my $10 reward; even though I asked her to. She had no explanation. Luckily, the pizza was great.
The pizza was excellent, with a wide variety of topping options available. The service was also fantastic. Despite this, we are considering a retreat.
