What a great experience! We were on our way to ECU to leave our son at college for his first semester. The seat was right in about 20 minutes, as promised. What Ronald Fink doesn't like about Cracker Barrel Old Country Store:
Southern comfort food, which is good. Popular with travelers. Moderate cost. There is usually a wait time at meal times and holidays. Store area aisles are narrow with too much stuff in them. It can get crowded at times. You now have the option to pay using the Cracker Barrel app. Portions are smaller and the kitchen is slower. View all feedback.

This was my first Cracker Barrel experience. Perhaps I ordered the wrong food. The vegetables were canned and tasteless. The biscuit was tasty. The grilled chicken was not very good. The steak fries were crispy and good.
This is one of the best locations we have ever been to! The store wasn?t so packed you couldn?t move around. Several employees asked if we needed help while looking around the store which I have never experienced at a Cracker Barrel before. Our wait wasn?t crazy (but we were there around 4). Best yet was our waiter! He was out of this world. Double the biscuits and cornbread and never a dry drink. Food came quickly and was delicious. This is not always the case for this chain so I wanted to give them a shout out and two thumbs up!
Great food, friendly staff, quick service, and very reasonably priced. My niece dropped a piece of bacon on the floor and the waitress noticed and immediately went back to the kitchen to bring her some more. Even before we could assure her that it wasn't necessary. She made us feel like we were eating breakfast at our mother or grandmother's house.
This is probably the smallest Cracker Barrel I have ever visited, but it did not disappoint. It was very easy to get to off of the south bound exit. The staff was friendly and our waitress was new and did a great job. All the food was as you expect from one of these locations. I will feel comfortable stopping here in the future.
