How do I always forget this place? You have good food and good service. We're definitely going back!
Excellent food and service, we had the breakfast plate, which was 2 scrambled eggs and 4 pieces of bacon? and toast and biscuits and my wife had the cheese omelet and secondary order of southern style. We've spent $16 and we've got a $2 change? Tip raised the table for our waitress. She was very kind. The food will be ordered, so it took about 20 minutes, but it was very delicious. When we went to pay the owner, Mr.Carver ran the checkout and asked how we liked the food and invited us to come back and try the lunch menu. While we paid a lady came and bought 3 pounds BBQ for 38 dollars. I hope it was a great BBQ. I'll try it someday before the holidays. So go by and get a good meal at a fair price. Breakfast and the lunch bells ring to Come And Get It. What does Me. Carver cook today?
This is another small, well managed family business that deserves your support. My daughter and I decided to stop here for breakfast at a softball tournament. It was a great choice! The breakfast menu was not overwhelming, but there was much to choose and I dropped for an Omelet and she got two eggs plus. We were quickly greeted, sitting immediately, and had delivered our drinks almost before I could count on three. Our food order was taken and the food came back nice and hot, just like we did in what seemed no time at all. Apart from that it was delicious, it was very cheap. That means you don't break the bank here either. So if you feel like eating in a pleasant, low key atmosphere without many upper end hype, this place will meet your needs perfectly and, Mr and Mrs Carver actually both work there. Mr. Carver worked in the cash register. Nice to see an owner active. So if you are in the mood for breakfast and you in this edge of the city will give you a look at sure! Two thumbs.
Great meat and vegetables (or just vegetables comfort restaurant). One of my Sunday dinners goes to the favorites. Many choices, but it's hard for me not to go with the excellent grilled pork chops. 2 pieces and 2 sides with Hush puppies (also excellent or Texas toast for less than $9. Daily Specials 7 days a week and they also have some seafood. It also serves a great breakfast throughout the day. I highly recommend, but not on Sunday, so I don't have to wait.
Hole in the wall diner, very outdated and nothing pretty to look at but great service, reasonable prices and excels at a breakfast in particular. Don?t bother with the desserts or pies, they are just so bad, bless whoever made them the two times my kids tried them? my preteen says they make a great burger though. If you are in the mood for a coffee after, try salvation coffee across the street.
