Currently 01/21/23, its V.O. 's and no longer Bent River Brewery, not sure how long ago it changed, but still essentially the same inside, food is good! First time eating here as the new restaurant, tried the regular Smashburger with onion rings. Burger was good but messy and almost fell apart, but tasted very good! Onion rings very crispy and good flavor! Mom got fish tacos and sweet potato fries, she enjoyed her fo... View all feedback.

Onion rings good , fries good. Burger Good, veggie burger a horrid disappointment, to much cheese On top draped over like a tablecloth and hardened , no clue how ya were suppose to eat it, no bun and a thin Leaf on top. We waited 45 minutes for our food, which arrived with one person's meal missing, along with burned chicken sandwiches and cold, soggy fries. When the person who was missing their food said they didn’t want it anymore, the waitress got frustrated. She eventually brought out the meal in a to-go box and mentioned they would offer a slight discount on the bill. The person declined the food, and the waitress took it back with a dismissive "fine." After that, we didn’t see her again, except when she came to collect our payment. There was no acknowledgment or thanks. Overall, it was not worth the money we spent.
The restaurant has new owners who have completely overhauled the menu, and unfortunately, the changes are not appealing at all! We won’t be going back.
During our visit, we attempted to order two beers listed on the board, but both were unavailable. When I asked the waitress for a beer list, she provided one, but when I tried to order from it, I was informed that the list was inaccurate—the waitress admitted the list was wrong yet still gave it to us. After inquiring inside, I finally found a beer they actually had. We also ordered pork belly tacos from the new menu, and they were just as disappointing as the poutine fries. One would expect the meat to be marinated or braised, but it tasted more like an old pork chop. The flavor was mostly overpowered by the sour red cabbage. The waitress seemed new to her role, but you would expect her to be familiar with their beer offerings. Overall, this will be our last visit to the new Bent River.
I had the pleasure of dining in for lunch and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The food was impressive, scoring a solid 4 out of 5. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making the meal truly enjoyable. The service was also commendable, earning a 4 as well; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. The atmosphere really stood out – I would rate it a 5. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax during lunchtime. Overall, with prices around $10 to $20 per person, this spot is definitely worth checking out!
