Those... read more The food at The Catch was fairly average and nothing special. The cheesy grits I ordered resembled bread pudding and, unfortunately, I couldn't eat them. Those grits were actually the one thing I was looking forward to when trying The Catch for the first time. On top of that, there was an error with our appetizer order, but I didn’t want to return to the restaurant and wait, so I should have checked my order before leaving to get a refund for the grits and fix the appetizer mistake. Overall, I wouldn’t come back or suggest others go out of their way to dine here.

The fries tasted stale, as if they had been cooked two days ago, and were so tough that they were nearly inedible. The catfish was just as unsatisfactory—overcooked and lacking any flavor. The shrimp was only passable at best. To top it off, they didn't include any tartar sauce or cocktail sauce with the catfish and shrimp, which could have made the meal a little better. I ended up paying $51 for a meal that I couldn't even finish. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place to eat!

Although it took longer than anticipated to receive a small order, the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. I was disappointed with the use of Styrofoam dinnerware for dining in. Nevertheless, if you're in the mood for seafood, this place is a dependable option.

It’s similar to how Olive Garden is viewed among Italian restaurants—edible, but definitely not exceptional.
