Babe's Chicken Dinner House - Burleson

I recently had dinner at this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was between $10 and $20. The food was excellent, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, I would give it a 5 out of 5 as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming and enjoyable, I would also give it a 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Buttermilk Biscuits, Mashed Potatoes, Fried Chicken, and Chicken Fingers.

I have been a longtime patron of Babe's Chicken in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, but my experience at the Burleson, TX location was disappointing. The food was subpar and the service was lacking. The sweet tea tasted off, indicating that the meal would not be enjoyable. Additionally, the manager insisted that the tea was fresh when it was clearly not. The chicken fried steak had a strange flavor, as if the batter was old. It seemed like the food was prepared without care, which is not typical of Babe's. Overall, I did not enjoy my meal and did not want to finish it.

We arrived at the restaurant just as dinner service began and were seated right away. The food was delicious, as usual. Our server was attentive and friendly. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch, earning a perfect 5-star rating in each category. The price per person for a meal was between $20 and $30.

Now, this would be a 5 star rating, but I actually am going out of my way to go on google and open up my old review account bc I need to tell you that THE WAIT WAS AWFUL!! Under no circumstances should a young man and his father have to wait 25-30 minutes to get 2 orders of fried chicken to go. The service was absolutely terrible—no, not the staff. Just look at Chick-fil-A: if they can do it, so can you. I recommend just going elsewhere tbh.
