Possibly the best Thai on the Gold Coast, and at very fair prices. I love this place, I often come for the $9.80 lunch specials with a wide variety of options. Great service when you dine in from the staff, and always a friendly smile to greet you. If you like it hot like me they can certainly cater! Popular amongst locals and visitors, this place is #1 on my favourite restaurants list!

We ordered 2 meals plus spring rolls. Spring rolls were ok but the garlic & pepper chicken although a fair size had no flavour. The beef massaman was a total letdown as the meat tasted like stewing steak and though sliced thinly was hard to chew. That also had no flavour so was very disappointed as we have liked the beef massaman everywhere else we have eaten.

This restaurant has delicious food. My Monday night running group eat here regularly. Please note that the restaurant has changed hands, and also its name to Silver Thai.

Lived on the Gold Coast for over 30 years and have eaten at almost every Thai Restaurant the Coast. THIS IS IT- If it's good quality, generous quantity and good value that you want- GO NO FURTHER!! This is an unknown gem It's in a weird place (in a small block of shops beside a petrol station) but don't let that put you off. Most people wouldn't give it a second glance but anyone who tries it, will not be disappointed. It's where you go for great quality Thai food when you can't be bothered cooking and you need a break. It's not the 'get dressed up for a night out' type dinning It was formerly the Tallie Thai but the new owners have renamed it Silver Thai. Parking is easy and generally available right at the front door. The service can sometimes be a little slow as they don't have many staff but the service is always so friendly & humble with good enough English. The food comes out in good time and is always made of good quality fresh ingredients plus the serving sizes are generous. We love the food and the prices are very reasonable It's not licensed but BYO is welcomed. A lot of there business is take away but they have a number of regulars too. We have taken friends there are they continue to dine there. So the secret is out!! Don't miss this one as you will be really pleasantly surprised
