We've bought takeaway chicken chips and the like from here various times over the years and its always been really fresh and quick. Good place to get a cheap quick meal in Burleigh, has bbq chickens, fish, burgers, veggies, curries, pasta. Also is licensed and sells coffee, milkshakes cakes etc. Lots of variety. Plenty of seating inside and out but we live locally so have only ever had takeaway. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pacific Carvery:
My family ate here and ordered the pork rolls with crackle, gravy and chips, never in my life have I eaten something so disgusting , the crackle still had pig hairs on it and the pork was low quality and full of fatty pieces. The chips were dried out and bland . When I took the meals back the staff just laughed and didn't care.Food is Pure Rubbish! View all feedback.

We bought bacon and egg rolls here for breakfast on the beach. we were pleasantly surprised (as this place really does look like a run-of-the-mill corner takeaway). It was great. Having said that we also bought a pie and that was a bit average.....still it is a reasonable and handy option.
Went here for breakfast as leaving. Had big breakfast and could not fault it. Good value. Partner had vegetarian omelette and again really nice. Service was good and coffee hit spot.
Good hearty meals but I thought $15.00 was a bit steep for a roast the fish and chips were good I liked the dory. and chips
Made the mistake of taking the family (7 of us) to Pacific Carvery, also known as 'Burleigh Tropicana'. This place relies on their prominent corner location opposite the beachfront for patronage, because if they had to rely on their customer service and pricing they wouldn't have a business. We dropped by to order ice creams @ $5.50 each single serve cone, not only was the service extremely slow and the staff rude and disinterested, the ice cream itself was served as if they were rationing their stock. Lucky to have 2 small tablespoons of ice cream in the cone! Then we were given the nice surprise of a 10% public holiday surcharge for our minimalist cones! This surcharge was NOT advertised anywhere near the menu or price lists, but inconspicuously by the register when you went to pay. Could be taken as deceptive..Overall the service, serving size, price and whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths and $42 less in our wallets. Don't waste your time here.
