Burleigh Waters Tavern

A friend visiting from interstate wanted to 'shout' us out as a thankyou. We looked for something close by, good food without extravagant prices and that we could speak without competing against loud music.Burleigh Waters Tavern was a perfect location with staff very attentive and friendly. Chef Debbie's magic in the kitchen ensured plates were empty when cleared from our table☺

Not a bad place at first. Staff very boring, attitude boring, dress code scruffy. Lunch was good a little slow but tasty. Drinks slow to be served and didn't even know how to make a vodka, lemon and lime pft

I received something totally different than what was shown on the pictures in the menu. The lamb was fried and the meat of poor quality, more skin and cartilage than actual meat. The salad was without oil/vinegar or any other sauce. The mushroom sauce costed 2$ extra, although it should have been part of the dish. At least the french fries were good :'(. With 18$ too expensive for what I got...

Quite definitely the most consistently happy, friendly and welcoming staff I've encountered at a venue in a month of Sundays. I even overheard one of the staff refer to 'the best bosses I've ever had'. That's a sign of a good workplace and somewhere I choose to return to.

A very nice Tavern to visit for family events such as birthdays-a good area for the children in the fenced playground, entertainment for the younger teens and birthday cakes welcome. Restaurant and outside dining area separate from the main sports bar and pokies. We have held a 'between the Wedding ceremony and Wedding reception' afternoon tea here-great area to hold it...staff very attentive and helpful..bottles of champagne/glasses ready for when guests arrived, platters of food very well presented and tasty..not overly expensive either!!
