Dee's Family Dining - Burk's Falls

If you're going to charge $20 for a plate of food, it should be made from fresh ingredients and not a frozen dinner popped into a microwave. Way too expensive for the lack of quality. I was unimpressed.

Excellent food, best place to eat between Huntsville and North Bay. Small menu but good variety, nice atmosphere

I have NEVER written a review before but for this place I will..General atmosphere upon arrival was very nice, as we got seated and I took a look around and seen the emptiness I should of taken it as a sign and ran for the door right there and then I decided to order lasagne which was one of the more pricier options on the menu as my food was delivered the stench of rotten Lettuce was something I will remember for ever .. as the waitress dropped the food off and made a sharp exit it was roughly 10 mins til she came and asked if everything was okay.. I told her how can you serve me rotten Lettuce not only does this smell appauling it looks awful it's brown you can not serve this to people ..Here response was the dishwasher was on salads tonight and didn't know what he was doing..

Excellent meal, a little pricey, but well worth it, great service and pleasant waitresses .A little out of the way and hard to find.

The four of us friends visited Dee's for lunch on Monday from Huntsville. One ordered the nachos which were very good. One ordered the chicken tenders with fries and she got home fries and what looked like frozen chicken fingers as they were very dry with batter falling off. The others ordered the Athens salads and half a litre of wine. The salads were very small and very sparse with very little of anything else in them and certainly not worth the price. The waitress told us it was boxed wine and we were charged $27 for a half litre. We wouldn't have minded if it was a great wine, but was a just a standard House wine. We were very disappointed as we were told good things about this restaurant, but we will not be returning any time soon.
