Such a lovely restaurant and with a larger-than-life owner, Mr. Musa Firat I can’t say enough about how much we loved the food here. It was flavorful and beautifully presented. Both lamb Pirzola and Gyro plates were great. So were the Baklava and tea. The food alone would bring us back many times. At Marlaina’s you’ll be welcomed with the warmest and best examples of hospitality you’ve seen. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and provided a lovely ambiance for a great dinner. All in all a wonderful experience, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with staff and Musa. Sadly we don’t live in the area but excited to eat here again when we visit again

This cute little strip is bustling with activity, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Although parking is free, we had to make a loop before finding a spot, which is to be expected on a busy Saturday evening. We were fortunate to get a seat on the patio, which is an ideal spot for summer dining. The patio features three two-seater tables, perfect for an intimate dining experience. We started with the mezze platter, which was absolutely delicious and showcased a variety of Mediterranean flavors. Following that, we had the lamb, which was equally delightful and cooked to perfection. To finish, we tried the baklava. While it was good, it didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. However, the friendly service more than made up for it. The staff was attentive and welcoming, enhancing the overall dining experience. I would definitely return to Marlaina's Mediterranean Kitchen, especially for the patio seating during the summer. It's a lovely spot to enjoy a meal and soak in the lively ambiance of Old Town Burien.

The owner is both the server and chef, and he works with a delightful staff. They also offer an excellent selection of wine and beer. I highly recommend this place; if you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on a true gem.

It’s clear that it’s very popular with the locals. Since we’re vegan, we decided to try the sampler plate. We enjoyed it so much that we took one to enjoy for dinner the next day. We wrapped up our meal with authentic Turkish coffee – definitely the real deal! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere of the place was really cool.

There is a good variety of dishes offered and they arrive in generous portions. Their hummus is truly a velvety experience along with fresh pita bread. Today we tried their lamb shanks and this must be the best we've ever had, even in Europe! Fall off the bone good, and much larger portion than pretentious restaurants. We happily drive from Sultan to enjoy this restaurant and so should you :

I had my heart set on lamb shank, but unfortunately, they were out of it, so I opted for the lamb kebabs instead. They were absolutely delicious.
