I think it's a great option to enjoy the city, it's in the middle of the city, close to everything, the staff is very attentive and they helped us with all our doubts about the city visits. the rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. we stayed for dinner one night at the restaurant and also very recommended, the menu for the price that you have loved! What User doesn't like about Palacio De Los Blasones:
the staff very attentive and pleasant, but expected more than one hotel in this category. breakfast was poor and of low quality and the noise of air conditioning in the room was upset. View all feedback.
In reference to our stay in the hotel rice palace of the blasons of burgos say that we got the location of the hotel and the room that we were assigned. in relation to the breakfast we do not have a complaint perhaps a peel expensive ,14 euros adult.) our problem with the hotel comes that we feel swindled because we made a reservation through last minute for four people, 2 adults and 2 children, when we arrive we have a bed of 1,50 cm 2 beds And on the other hand, claiming that it is because of the intermediaries, who also have it not to inform beforehand of the detail seems to me very little serious. We believe that a company should work with serious suppliers and staff and if they detect any fault, as they claimed they already knew, they should correct it. Finally, despite putting us on some edges for being deceived, the reception staff was exquisitely educated.
Correct for the classification you have. spacious and comfortable room, although the air conditioning did not work well. offer breakfast at 8 euros (a little expensive) good location, ten minutes from the cathedral. They call it a palace, but it's not. It doesn't even look like a classic building. It offers parking, but they don't reserve.
This restaurant, located just five minutes walk from the cathedral in the Hotel Rice Palacio de los Blasones was a pleasant surprise. Having had a mediocre experience the night before in one of the tourist-oriented restaurants opposite the cathedral, we went looking further afield. As we were passing the hotel around 8 p.m., the restaurant was setting out its bill of fare for the evening. We entered the hotel to check it out, and discovered a modern, airy, well appointed, quiet room and well spaced tables. The menu and wine list were enticing and our selection of the tasting menu and a local wine turned out to be one of the top meals we had in Spain. The wait service was professional and they let us proceed at our own pace. The other diners in the main dining room all seemed to be local couples and families who were having a special night out. The same evening, in the adjacent banquet space, the restaurant was hosting a charity dinner of the local bar association. As this large group entered and began their meal, the restaurant hardly missed a beat in getting our dessert and coffee to us, and it certainly can't be a bad sign of the restaurant's local reputation that the local legal community selected it for their special event!
This hotel is a nightmare of a visit. Unless you are a young couple with a tiny car who doesn't mind talking to the police (you must) and dodging pedestrians just to get to the hotel...go somewhere else. The parking garage is frightening. A tiny car could park with ease, but parking the small SUV that we were given by Hertz was one of the most difficult things I've ever done. When we finally got to our room it was two stories!! Forget dragging a suitcase up the tiny, winding, narrow staircase. Because of a fiesta all the restaurants were full and the one at our hotel was closed for a wedding. We wandered the streets for far too long before being able to find a free table. Next time we come to Burgos we'll stay elsewhere.
We dined on the Menu del Palacio 18 Euros for an excellent meal, including drinks. The service, provided by the maitre de, was very professional and humourous, which made our night.
