we were on a motorcycle tour and spent 2 nights in burgos and found el trassiego randomly exploring during the city. we asked a waiter whether there was an English menu and he went and found the owner who spoke well English and spent time explaining to us the menu. the meal was probably the best we had during our tour and would certainly recommend that they check the place for themselves. What User doesn't like about El Trassiego:
We were here last week and ordered carrillera de ternera and it was great!!! Today we came back and ordered the same thing and it came with cold mashed potatoes. They tried to say that it was supposed to be a contrast between hot and cold.... So you cooked the potatoes, let them get cold and then placed the meat on top??? Doesn 't make sense. My niece ordered churrasco and they were beyond salty. The boss did nothing... View all feedback.
El sábado visitamos Burgos y nuestra parada gastronómica no pudo ser más satisfactoria. Raciones llenas de sabor y variedad, todo un capricho para el paladar!! Una variedad de cerveza impresionante, y el vermú espectacular!! Los postres fueron un colofón perfecto, qué tarta de queso!!!! Se me hace la boca agua pensando en esta suprema experiencia!! Y la atención del personal espectacular!! En nuestra próxima visita a Burgos, repetiremos sin dudarlo!!
Justo al lado de la catedral.. Un local amplio para comer de calidad a buenos precios. Además de productos de la región, podéis encontrar otros asturianos tan típicos como el cachopo, sidra, calamares.... Sitio muy recomendable
Staff were helpful, food was tasty and well presented, prices were not unreasonable. The restaurant was packed on Saturday night and people were having a good time. I wasn't sold on the decor which is minimalist industrial look. And vegetarian options were limited, hence 4 stars not 5.

La comida es deliciosa, el lugar está muy limpio, es cómodo y muy agradable. El trato con todo el personal también es excelente, con una relación calidad-precio inmejorable. ¡Seguro que volveré!
