Good select of German food, of course also offering the traditional curd with herbs and flax seed oil potato dish. Good quality ingredients, but the kitchen could be a bit less traditional. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Konrad's:
Nice outdoor setting. Wine list very limited. Wife ordered fried catfish, got it baked in a cream sauce. Desserts the same. A so called mousse that had the consistency and taste of a blob of yogurt. Service gives new meaning to slow. I just don't know how else to rate it. View all feedback.
My wife and I ate here. She had the fish soup, followed by calfsroulade with red cabbage. I had Steak. All meals were carefully prepared and delicious. My wife especially liked the fish soup, a rare praise from her and said it was the second best she ever had. Her red cabbage was several notches above what you would get in ordinary food, a delicately balanced affair of only enig vinegar and cloves. We sat outside and enjoyed a gentle breeze. Would recommend 100%.
Food was OK very well presented by her passionate staff I would have loved more tradition German dishes on the menu
We stayed at the hotel and had dinner twice at the restaurant Konrad, the hotel restaurant. It's fantastic restaurant. Very fresh ingredients and tasteful dishes that changed my impression of German cuisine. The vegetarian dishes were spectacular. Very recommended by all in our group.
