Unfortunately both the Burford branch and the Stow on the Wold one didn’t have the option of a sausage sandwich that we had seen online or the scones but we did get gorgeous carrot cake, belgium buns and Lardy cakes that were (really recommend having the latter warm the brown sugar melts deliciously). The staff member we asked wasn’t sure what was vegan but I went outside to read their advertising board and those three options were marked clearly.
After a disappointing trip to green and pleasant tea rooms (closed) and coachhouse coffee (ran out of vegan cake, ice cream and milk apart from a coconut muffin) we were very pleased to find Huffkins. We asked at the bar what was vegan and were informed they had a sausage bap, oat and blueberry muffin, 2 cinnamon swirl type cakes and scones with jam. Not all of these were marked vegan so I recommend enquiring. We went for the cream tea and although smaller than their non vegan counterparts the scones were lovely and we were provided with margarine instead of butter.
