Came here a bit early and the owner told us that they opened at 13:30 for food. Super friendly owner and staff. He gave us some small tapas while we were talking before we left. Potatoes and egg delicious as well as some small sausage which was delicious. We left to go check around the pier. When we came back, the owner showed us the menu which was handwritten and changes daily. Really really cool. Some of the prices are high, but those are for daily fish that are large enough for 2, 3, 4, or 5 people depending on the fish. Once again, really cool. We ended up ordering fried prawns, scallops, sardines, and razor clams. The prawns were perfectly cooked and light. Not heavy like fried shrimp in the US. The scallops were in the shell and very tasty albeit a little small. The sardines were surprisingly good and came with fresh guacamole and fried potato chips. The razor clams were prepared in a really nice way and very tasty. The owner was very patient and helped us with the menu and explained things for us. The staff was friendly, the food was super fresh and very delicious, this is for sure not a tourist place. Unique experience and not very expensive. I would say it's a must go to restaurant if you're in the area. Absolutely A+

The food and service are excellent! The owner is happy to explain (in English) the menu which is hand written (in Spanish) on paper each day. I have been in Galicia for 3 weeks and today at Casa Miranda I ate the best pulpo (octopus) of my whole trip. The restaurant is off the beaten track on the dockside but well worth the effort to drive to it. I had made a reservation but there were other tables available today for lunch. Highly recommend Casa Miranda!

This restaurant is cold and unwelcoming. I didn't take my coat off as I was too cold! The food was good but overall not amazing. Was contacted by phone that they prefer cash rather than card and the server at the bar told us to pay cash as the card machine didn't work. We declined and said we will come back and pay another time, the card machine instantly worked again. The lady was extremely rude, tapping her nails whilst waiting for the card payment to go through. The toilets are disgusting.

I cannot praise this place enough. Set within the port of Burela, a little haven. Treated as if family from the moment we walked in. Time taken to converse with us even though we don't speak Spanish. The guys who work here: José, Gio and Diego couldn't do more to make this place feel like home. The tapas offered to every table. If you don't eat meat or fish, don't worry just a mention of my vegetarianism and I was brought a platter of cheese. Not speaking Spanish, upon trying to order, José was there ready to help. My couscous was a delight, I don't usually eat couscous but I'm glad I made an exception, warmly spiced and with an artisan roll I couldn't fail to be impressed. At every step we were treated like friends. Gio there at every moment to bring drinks and smiles. Diego helping to translate. With his excellent English compared to my non Spanish. We will be back and you should make the effort to find this place. Sit and converse life is made of conversation and this place will make you talk.

The family thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Adventurous food but we were up for it: algae salad with roe, smoked sardines with guacamole (excellent), fresh calamari, and grilled manta ray. Great service with personal attention from the chef to ensure our gluten free needs were met strongly recommend.
