However, I was disappointed with all but one of the slice... read more Prime Pizza is one of my favorite pizza places in Brooklyn, tied with John’s of Bleecker Street in NY. However, I was disappointed with all but one of the slices I had today. Maybe I just came on an off day because the whole experience felt a bit off, including the guy behind the counter struggling with the credit card machine. We tried a few pepperoni slices, a cheese slice, and a square slice. The square slice was good and that’s why I gave it a 3-star rating. I can understand how, if you’ve only ever had LA-style pizza, you might find this pizza amazing. I was really hoping it would be as good as the Best Pizza in NY, but maybe I was expecting too much. I’ll definitely come back to give it another try and hope round two is better.

Prime Pizza makes excellent thin crust pizza and offers it up by the slice which is often what I'm looking for as a good, quick and tasty lunch. They seem to be slowly rollingput an LA based expansion with more locations coming out over the year. I was happy to see the experience I had at the firstlocation was matched by their Burbank expansion. I sort of vaguely remember an Italian deli style place in the spot before buthappy that Prime Pizza took over. The building sits on its own lot and there is parking plus good street parking. They have agreat, large outdoor patio that is on the best side of the building for afternoon shade. In a city full of pizza options, PrimePizza is one worth visiting.
