The restaurant appeared to be a great spot for drinks, although I wasn't able to confirm. I can't speak to its quality, but I would rate it a 3 out of 5 for ambiance.

I had a great experience at the hotel bar in Springhill Suites. It was very clean and they served a delicious Stella on draft.

This bar is fantastic. The beer is cold and the staff is very professional!

Growing up in New York and eating amazing Italian food on a regular basis, I don't generally have high expectations for LA Italian food. I was pleasantly surprised by maccheroni republic's gnocchi (not the most pillowy, but still very very soft) and bruschetta. The bruschetta was unusual, having cucumbers and mozzarella in addition to the tomatoes. But whatever seasoning was on that mix and combined with their sourdough toasts just blew me away. Well done.
