Kopan Ramen - Burbank

This was my first time visiting this particular restaurant. The decor here is absolutely charming compared to the other branches! The service was prompt and the food was delicious. It's a great spot for a dinner with friends or a date. I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.

I've seen this chain around and finally thought to try it in downtown burbank location (super cute area btw! My coworker got two rolls I tried both as well and honestly they were pretty mid. The bento isn't a bad deal with 3 options, esp with the sashimi choice added. There's definitely better sushi spots in the greater LA region but it isn't the worst option for dinner either.

I absolutely adore the ambiance of this restaurant. The ramen here is incredibly tasty and reasonably priced, and the service is fantastic. If you enjoy spicy dishes, I recommend opting for level 3 for the ramen. Overall, I would rate the food here a perfect 5 out of 5.

The wait time quoted to my party kept getting extended because the restaurant kept seating smaller parties at tables we were waiting for. For our sanity stomachs, we eventually decided to split up sit at two booths, one behind the other. What we should have done was left. Our waitress was awful to us. She was curt, rude, impatient. Utensils, chopsticks, wasabi/ginger were brought out after our food arrived only because we requested several times. Had we not been strung along at such a late hour had service been halfway decent, I would've rated Kopan 2.5 stars rounded up to three for their food. I ordered a bento box; the avocado roll was generously filled with fresh avocado but the chicken katsu, though hot crispy, tasted bland. But, as it currently stands, Kopan wins the award for absolute worst service I've experienced at a restaurant in 2023. Congrats, enjoy your 1-star trophy.

I enjoy having lunch at this restaurant. I typically go for the 2-item Bento Box because of the variety of protein options available. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is distinct. Overall, I rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
