This restaurant is one of the few pla... read more The Hawaiian burger has become one of my favorites. If you enjoy pineapple and a honey-buttered wheat bun, you’ll love it. This restaurant is one of the few places that will grill the patties to your liking. The fries were average, which was a bit disappointing. We were also bummed to find out that this Burbank location no longer serves fruit punch, which used to be a crowd favorite. The chipotle burger (not sure of its exact name on the menu) was juicy and delicious. It wasn't spicy but would be just fine for teenagers. This spot is a great choice for watching sports, with TV screens all around. The staff was friendly, and we only waited about 20 minutes on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It’s a casual, family-friendly place suitable for kids, solo dining, or having a good time with friends at the bar.

Before deciding to eat at this restaurant, I strongly recommend taking a walk around the block to check out the grease interceptor and sewer line that have been... read more Before deciding to eat at this restaurant, I strongly recommend taking a walk around the block to check out the grease interceptor and sewer line that have been leaking dirty water into the city’s storm drain. The grease interceptor at Island Burger, located at the back of the restaurant on North First Street, has been overflowing for at least the last two weeks. While they have attempted to fix the issue, it continues to happen. During their efforts to address the problem, they left the sidewalk dirty and slick with grease, creating a slip hazard for pedestrians. Unfortunately, this is not the first time the grease interceptor has overflowed, and each time it occurs, it seems to take the restaurant a considerable amount of time to resolve the issue.
