Ikea - Burbank
Ikea
Description
IKEA delivers a well-managed, inspirational shopping experience with museum-like showrooms, a broad affordable selection, easy warehouse pickup and snap-to-assemble pieces. The spacious, clean store offers ample parking, a cafe with Swedish staples and friendly staff. Frequent new designs keep visits fresh, but inventory gaps, higher prices and occasional long waits for returns or item retrieval can frustrate shoppers—use the app to check availability before you go.

I enjoy this Ikea because it's just as spacious as the one in Covina. There are plenty of different kitchen and bathroom models to reference, and a wide variety of home products. However, I noticed that there are many more empty shelves compared to my last visit four months ago. Prices also seem to be higher than before, which makes sense given the current global supply chain issues.
You'll find almost all types of furniture here, along with various houseware items, cookware, linens, and much more. I particularly like the outdoor patio furniture—it's really nice. You'll get plenty of ideas for updating your outdoor furniture, especially with good weather on the way. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as there's a lot of ground to cover in this large warehouse. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you get lost, as it is quite spacious!
Fantastic location with ample parking available. I'm really happy to see that the dining space is open again! I'm feeling generous with this review, as I could easily take off a star for the unreasonably long lines and waits for returns, but I'll overlook it this time. I strongly recommend downloading the app to check item availability, as many items have been in short supply for over a year. Additionally, I purchased a dresser one evening and had to wait 50 minutes for them to bring it out to me. That seemed pretty typical, which was frustrating as well.
Absolutely spectacular! I always look forward to my shopping trips to Ikea. They have some of the most amazing displays of bedroom and kitchen setups, making it feel as though you're walking through a museum tour. What I found particularly delightful was the delicious hot dogs and pizza available at the checkout after the shopping experience.
This is our favorite spot for purchasing furniture and household items. They introduce new designs and organizational solutions every few months. If you enjoy assembling furniture, the process is quite enjoyable. Additionally, the dining area offers some delicious Swedish food options, with the veggie hotdog being my current favorite.
