Hades Hot Chicken - Burbank

This place is SO good. The chicken nuggets are crispy and the chicken is moist. We got hot and it was pretty spicy. The French fries are really good they 're crinkle fries with a yummy, savory seasoning. The macaroni and cheese is delicious it tastes like a homemade recipe (which for me, is a good thing. There is plenty of seating and there is parking in the lot and on the street. It 's worth stopping by!

This is a true hidden gem. If you 're anywhere close to Hades Hot Chicken, you need to give this place a try. A little backstory. We had just returned to Bob Hope Airport after a week in Nashville. We had eaten out the whole week something unusual for us. After a rough night in a pretty crappy hotel, we woke up at 3:30 am to catch our first flight. It was now 12:30.It was still a 2 hour drive home, and we needed something to eat. My wife said a grilled cheese sandwich was what she was craving. I 'm not sure why, but I thought Hades Hot Chicken could handle the task.It 's a Greek restaurant with lots of great food. Grilled Cheese wasn 't on the menu, but when we asked the cook, he 'd said, Yeah, I can do that. Music to our ears. I ordered the gyro sandwich. Have you ever wished you were hungrier? I did. The Gyro Sandwich was delicious. The meat is tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of taziki. They had freshly made the bread, and the salad and veggies stuffed inside the sandwich were fresh. The service was terrific. The owner asked if we wanted any drinks to go. And, I know he was Greek, so it doesn 't get more authentic than that.Don 't pass this place by. Next time, I am coming with an appetite!
