Steven, the waite... read more I was totally satisfied w/the food items I ordered. Not so thrilled w/the services provided the counter sitting or I 'll give it a 5 instead . Steven, the waiter was 'just ' doing his job w/no character...not responsive nor communicative when asking himabout certain food items on the menu. he simply just couldn 't answered! It 's all about the hospitality to earn your tips! :Even though I 'm a kind human being who always tip well! I was debating to order a burger as most of others do or anomelet...yet ended up ordered a Cobb Salad. OMG, I 'm glad I did! It 's a fresh tasty delightful thing! I also ordered Waffle,which did not disappoint either! The waffle which is way better than most of other places came in crispy outside yet tenderinside. It goes perfectly well w/generous portion of butter served w/regular syrup...no maple flavor. I did not use it for itshigh sugar contents... and I 'm in heaven! Food quality is surprisingly good. I need to come back, for the food.

The friendly staff and the atmosphere made it compleet. I would definitely recommend a visit!

As for the food it is always consistently good and has a good variety to choose from. My go to favorites are the chili spaghetti or thesuper big boy combo. Both I highly recommend and the cost are reasonable. If you go for the super big boy combo I like to callit a commitment burger because it?s almost hard to put down and pick back up so you are committed to holding it so it doesn?tfall apart. The combo comes with fries and a salad. For the chili spaghetti always comes with soup or salad for the soup Iusually opt for the vegetable beef). The chili spaghetti doesn?t always look super appealing but then again it?s chili onspaghetti but it has great taste to it. The thing I take issue with is at times the service is inconsistent and at times nomatter if you?re by yourself or a big party your left waiting to order or even just a refill for a drink. Lately everything hasbeen great.

When this is a time in LA when not even a plate of pasta is regularly affordable below $20 in LA,this place offers dishes at a sane price and the food is good generous portions. My hamburger was a simple classic Americancheeseburger combo with fries and a salad. It wasn't the burger of my lifetime, and exactly what I expected it to be. Just astraightforward classic and good. Adding a chocolate malt milkshake was a perfect ending to the meal. Oh, if you likemerchandise, they have a good selection of tees, stickers, patches, mugs and knickknacks that would make perfect LAsouvenirs. Here, I would be happy to take a tourist who wants a true classic American experience in LA.

Today we sat outside and had great service. I usually get the Super Big Boy with avocado and bacon but today I ordered the CaliforniaStrawberry and Chicken Salad. It was delicious and left me wanting to figure out how to make it at home. After finishing ourlunch we all shared a Hot Fudge Cake which is a must if you have room after your meal.
