Their menu features new selections each month, and my wife especially enjoys the gumbo and lobster rolls when they’re available. They do have some dessert options, but I haven’t tried any yet since I’m always too full after eating. I highly recommend Captain D's, but be sure to grab plenty of napkins, as some of the fried items can be a bit greasy. I’m not sure if they have an app, but I have ordered ahead through their website with ease.

The only highlight of the meal was the hush puppies, which were genuinely good. It seems that many restaurants have become neglectful of food quality since COVID. After such a disappointing experience, I won't be returning.

I had to repeatedly explain how to order a chicken strip meal with a side of fried shrimp, as she continually insisted that it wasn’t an option. By the time I finally received my food, it was cold. It was the worst experience I had that day.

We ordered the seafood platters featuring fish, shrimp, and deviled crab. The food arrived hot and wasn’t greasy at all. The fried okra was cooked perfectly as well! I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

They also feature a rotating menu with new dishes each month. My wife particularly enjoys the crab cakes and lobster rolls whenever they’re on offer. While there are dessert options available, I usually pass on them because I'm too full after my meal. A little tip: you might want to stock up on napkins, as some of the fried items can be a bit greasy. I’m not certain if they have an app, but I’ve successfully placed pre-orders through their website.
