The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding.

For work functions, booking arrangements can sometimes be complicated, but Steph makes everything easy and hassle-free. The menu is also updated regularly, which is a great perk for us regulars. I've organized many team lunches there, and it's always a lovely setting, with beautiful views of the magnificent River Redgums. The combination of great food, a quiet atmosphere, and excellent service is ideal for busy La Trobe staff and the wider community; I've even taken my family there! I absolutely love this place, and I hope it stays around. So much has changed at La Trobe for the worse, and this gem deserves to be preserved.

The menu is very basic compared to the previous Glenn Bistro menu, and there are none of the other options that used to be in the fridge (e.g. yoghurt, cakes).... read more The menu is very basic compared to the previous Glenn Bistro menu, and there are none of the other options that used to be in the fridge (e.g. yoghurt, cakes). It was mostly an all-day breakfast type menu but limited options. We were the only people there and had to ask to have the music (radio) quieter as it was quite intrusive. The woman who served us was lovely and helpful but overall it wasn't a great experience.

It used to feature an all-day breakfast menu, but now the choices are limited. We were the only customers there, and we had to ask for the radio to be turned down, as it was quite loud and distracting. The woman who served us was very nice and helpful, but overall, it wasn’t a great experience.
