What User doesn't like about Cafe 1928:
Have been dreaming of their eggs Benedict for 6+ months. Promised my friend that they were brilliant. Severely disappointed. Gone is the big, fluffy, thick sound ought and now this flat, over toasted hardness. The eggs weren't runny the hollandaise was basic, almost feels like it was a store bought one. This restaurant is bright and spacious, offering a standard menu with options for children. The views of the gardens and waterways are fantastic. We enjoyed our meal on the outdoor deck and were treated to the sight of a steam train passing by, which I'd recommend riding after lunch! The friendly birds came to collect the bits we left behind. The staff provided lovely and welcoming service. I will certainly return the next time I'm in Bundaberg.
Fantastic place for lunch! There are plenty of activities for kids of all ages, as well as fun options for adults too! Haha!
I had a fantastic experience with their iced coffee and pancakes. The service was quick and friendly, and the café was clean. I also enjoyed the lovely views of the botanic gardens.
